About
Pastor and Sis
Kagen Pitre
Reverend Kagen Pitre, born and raised in Southwest Louisiana, felt the call to ministry at age 19. He started to be used in the local church he attended, which eventually led to evangelism to other assemblies. He was married to his wife, Sis Esther Pitre, from Illinois, in 2020. They ventured out into full-time evangelism, traveling throughout, mostly, the southern states.
After feeling the call to Hillister, Rev. Pitre assumed pastorate here in March of 2023.
With a heart for others and a love of God and His word, he and his family are motivated to spread the Gospel and Hope to the community.
What We Believe
At Faith Tabernacle, our beliefs are rooted in the Word of God and centered on the life-changing power of Jesus Christ. We believe truth should be both clear and life-giving. Here’s what we believe:
God
There is one God who has revealed Himself to us as Father, through His Son Jesus Christ, and is active in our lives through the Holy Spirit. God is not distant—He is present, personal, and at work today.
Jesus Christ is God manifested in the flesh. Through His life, death, and resurrection, He made a way for us to be forgiven, restored, and made new.
The Bible is the inspired Word of God. It is true, powerful, and relevant, providing direction and hope for everyday life.
The Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit is active and powerful today, guiding us, strengthening us, and helping us live a Spirit-filled life.
The Church
We believe the church is a community of believers who come together to worship, grow, and support one another. We are called to share the message of hope and live out our faith in a real and meaningful way.
Our Hope
We believe no one is too far gone. Through Jesus, there is always a fresh start, a new purpose, and a future filled with hope.
